Lil Snupe, born Addarren Ross on June 13, 1995, emerged as a promising rapper hailing from Jonesboro, Louisiana. Tragically, his life was cut short when he was shot and killed in Winnfield, Louisiana, on June 20, 2013. Known for his affiliation with rapper Meek Mill, Lil Snupe was signed to Mill's label, Dream Chasers, marking a significant milestone in his burgeoning career. Their paths crossed serendipitously when Snupe approached Meek Mill during a tour, handing him a mixtape that left a lasting impression. This encounter catalyzed Snupe's swift ascent in the music industry.

Lil Snupe Death


Lil Snupe's untimely demise at the age of 18 shocked the hip-hop community, particularly as he had recently expressed gratitude for reaching this milestone age—a feat not always achieved by peers from his neighborhood. Tony Holden, a 36-year-old man, was responsible for the fatal shooting on June 20, 2013, over a dispute arising from a video game bet in Holden's apartment complex. The industry mourned the loss of a young artist with immense potential who was poised for greatness under one of the leading rap labels.

Tony Holden surrendered to authorities on June 26, 2013, following charges of murder. Additionally, Edrick Stewart, a 21-year-old from Louisiana, faced charges related to the incident.
