Pgeezy / Peterman (Deangelo Lamont Parker; November 27, 1976 – December 17, 2012) was an influential American rapper known for his role as CEO of Trap Underground Music. In 2011, he signed with Natalac Records, becoming the first artist besides Natalac himself to release a full album on the label.
Born in Charleston, South Carolina, Parker faced adversity early in life, losing his parents before the age of ten. Raised by his grandmother, Rosina Martin, he later settled in Walterboro, South Carolina, where he married Tiffany Risher. They had two children, Deangelo Parker, Jr. and Dearjhia Parker.
Pgeezy's solo career launched on March 28, 2009, with the album All the Way to the Top, Vol. 1: Coast 2 Coast. The lead single, Creepin' through the Fog, was released under his label T.U.G. (Trap Underground), which included fellow member Scrap, born Eddie Holmes. Critics noted the album's raw and gritty sound.
In 2011, under Natalac Records, Pgeezy released Doing the Best I Can ft. Pgeezy from the Best Of Natalac album. The music gained notable attention, especially with its release at the Memorial Day St. George Community Picnic, which was part of a T.U.G./Natalac Records Stop the Violence Movement spearheaded by Pgeezy.
Career Highlights
Pgeezy's album All the Way to the Top, Vol. 2: Coast 2 Coast, released on Natalac Records, featured singles with accompanying videos such as Super Pack ft. Spoon and Every Time You See Us ft. Natalac. Tragically, Spoon passed away in a car accident shortly after the video shoot.
In November 2012, Pgeezy released Sweet Godfather Deal, a single from his anticipated album All the Way to the Top Vol. 3: Coast 2 Coast, scheduled for 2013 release.
