O-Block

O-Block is a moniker adopted by the "300" set of the Black Disciples gang, situated on 64th King Drive Blvd. This name originated as a tribute to one of their fallen members, Odee Perry, who was tragically killed in 2011 by a hail of gunfire. Numerous Black Disciples rappers have referenced O-Block in their music. Chief Keef, for instance, mentioned it in his song "John Madden," with lyrics that portray the ferocity of their group: "300 savage with Lamron, Its closed casket - O-Block we blitz n*ggas, Like, John Madden."

The Black Disciples are embroiled in ongoing conflicts with various Gangster Disciples sets on Chicago’s South Side. Like many fallen gang members, Odee Perry is often invoked as a taunt by rival factions. In one instance, Flip, a friend of Lil JoJo, praised JoJo World in a tweet. Tadoe, a Black Disciples member, responded provocatively with "F*ck JoJo." Flip retaliated with "TURN A N*GGA TO ODE(e) IF HE WANT BEEF," highlighting the tensions between these groups.
