Aurora (Singer)

Aurora, born November 8, 1993, is a renowned American R&B singer with a fascinating journey from Paris, France to the heart of the American music scene. Raised in a nurturing environment that fostered her musical talents, Aurora discovered her passion for music in the church. Her parents supported her artistic inclinations by enrolling her in vocal, dance, and piano lessons, enabling her to refine her skills in singing, dancing, and songwriting.

Inspired by iconic artists such as Mariah Carey and Beyoncé, Aurora developed a profound affinity for R&B music by the age of 11, leading her to pursue songwriting with earnest dedication. Despite her ambition, Aurora faced initial setbacks in France, including being deemed "too young" by Universal. Undeterred, she convinced her parents to let her move to Atlanta, GA, at the age of 12, where she immersed herself in both music and the English language, aiming for an international career.

In Atlanta, Aurora attended school while continuing her artistic pursuits in dance and songwriting. She also ventured into freelance modeling to enhance her visibility. At 17, she relocated to Miami, FL, where she recorded her first demos with esteemed engineer and producer Robert Dante, who motivated her to take her singing career more seriously and develop her brand.

Aurora's dedication paid off when she released her debut mixtape "Guns & Roses" on September 18, 2014. This blend of trap and R&B gradually garnered a dedicated fan base, marking the beginning of her ascent in the music industry. Currently, Aurora is focused on her upcoming project, "On a Love Note...", which she describes as "Strictly R&B, no trap I'd say! This is pure honesty from a young woman's perspective." Her unique style, characterized by deep melodies, hip-hop up-tempo beats, and soulful R&B ballads, sets her apart in the music world.
