STL (Chicago Gang)

STL (St Lawrence) represents a faction of the Gangster Disciples gang located at the intersection of 63rd and St Lawrence in Chicago, IL. This group is also known by the monikers "Tooka Gang/Tookaville" and "Tutu Gang" among others. Recently, STL has gained attention due to the emergence of Drill rappers from Chicago who are affiliated with this faction.

STLEBT

STL maintains a strong alliance with another Gangster Disciples faction known as EBT, leading to the combined identity of STLEBT. Several gang members from St Lawrence, such as Lil Jay and FBG Duck, have risen to prominence in the rap scene. Their lyrics often target rival groups, particularly the Black Disciples and their associated artists like Chief Keef, Lil Reese, Edai, and Lil Durk. STL rappers frequently assert the term "BDK" in their music, an acronym for 'Black Disciple Killers'. In many music videos, they visibly express disdain for the Black Disciples by "Cracking Treys".

Members of STL frequently become subjects of lyrical attacks from Black Disciples-affiliated artists. For instance, Chief Keef's track "3Hunna" includes a disparaging reference to their gang with the line "F*ck a Tooka gang, b*tch I’m 3Hunna". Similarly, LA Capone, a member of the Black Disciples, ridiculed a deceased STL member, Shondale "Tooka" Gregory, in his song "Play for Keeps" by taunting, "Shondale how that hot sh*t feel?". Shondale was tragically shot and killed by rival gang members in Chicago prior to the release of the song.
