G Stone Crips

The G Stone Crips are a notable faction within the larger Crips gang network, primarily operating out of Brooklyn, NY. This specific group distinguishes itself from its Los Angeles counterparts by adopting symbols reminiscent of Chicago gang insignias. The G Stone Crips became embroiled in a violent conflict with the local gang known as Brooklyn's Most Wanted (BMW) in 2011. This feud erupted after a BMW member fatally shot Tyrese "Shyste" Gary, the leader of the G Stone Crips. The ensuing years were marked by a series of retaliatory shootings between the two groups.

Gang Conflicts and Alliances

The year 2013 saw a significant disruption in the activities of Brooklyn's Most Wanted, with the NYPD executing a series of arrests that effectively dismantled the gang. The G Stone Crips, however, continue to be active and have engaged in ongoing turf wars. They are in conflict with all Bloods factions within their territory, as well as the 6 Tre Outlaw Gangster Disciples in Flatbush. Conversely, they maintain alliances with groups like Zoe Pound, particularly H-Mob.

Cultural Influence

The G Stone Crips have also made their mark on popular culture, with rapper Bobby Shmurda being a notable affiliate of the group. His music has often been seen as a reflection of the lifestyle and experiences associated with the gang. This connection to the music industry has brought a degree of notoriety and cultural influence to the G Stone Crips, further distinguishing them within the broader gang landscape.
