This group consisted of a mix of Gangster Disciples and Mickey/Spanish Cobras, primarily targeting Vice Lords, along with some Black P Stones and Four Corner Hustlers from Chicago. The origins of this conflict are traced back to a seemingly innocuous street basketball game. During this game, a Vice Lord claimed victory, sparking an argument that escalated when a Gangster Disciple was struck, inadvertently involving a Mickey/Spanish Cobra. This incident ignited a prolonged war between the factions.
As tensions mounted, videos emerged depicting the Diamond Mob members defiantly displaying their hand signs, taunting their adversaries while brazenly marching through enemy territories.
Distinctive Symbols
The hand sign adopted by the Diamond Mob involves connecting the upside-down Vice Lord hand sign, which symbolizes a diamond. This gesture is associated with the Mickey/Spanish Cobras and serves as a direct affront to the Vice Lords.
The clique's symbol features a cobra snake intertwined with a pitchfork pointing both upwards and downwards, accompanied by a crack through a diamond. This imagery symbolizes their dissociation from any formal affiliations with the Folk or People Nation.
