079 MTV is a set of the Black Disciples gang located on 79th and Mt Vernom in Chicago, Illinois. The gang's name derives from the street they operate (MT. Vernom); MTV also stands for Money Thru Vernon. They claimed to have committed the murder of Ladarius "Don Darius" Brisco, a rapper and gang member from 8 Trey Mob, a rival Gangster Disciple set of MTV. And some people believed that MTV Polo killed him.
