Gangway is the passageway between two tight objects such as the space between seats in an auditorium, or the space separating two buildings within close proximity. Gangways are popular in Chicago hoods, gang members often use gangways to sell drugs and surprise enemies. They also take advantage of gangway's tight space to evade police since it makes it difficult for cops to pursue them with cars.
