NLMB-Gang

NLMB, standing for No Limit Muskegon Boys, or Never Leave My Brothers, is a gang rooted in Chicago's east side. The 'No Limit' (NL) segment is a renegade faction of the Black P. Stones gang, while 'Muskegon Boys' (MB) is a splinter group from the Gangster Disciples. The alliance between these factions, symbolized by the acronym NLMB, is primarily recognized by the credo 'Never Leave My Brother.' Like many renegade gangs, NLMB affiliates itself with both 'die5' and 'die6' philosophies, which aligns them with the EBK (Everybody Killer) stance.

Cultural Influence and Music Impact

NLMB gained widespread notoriety through the influence of its members, particularly Lil Herb and Lil Bibby, who have risen to prominence in the rap industry. Both artists hail from the No Limit faction and are key figures in the drill music movement, a genre known for its raw portrayal of urban life. Their tracks often reflect their experiences within gang culture, with songs like 'Kill Sh*t' offering insights into their reality. In this particular track, Lil Herb asserts, “Yea it's no limit, thirty years runnin', thirty years gunnin' and we still the sh*t,” referencing the enduring legacy of his faction, No Limit, and the Black P. Stones gang, which has maintained its presence for over three decades.
